About

Ariel in the new, renovated gallery spaceGallery owner Ariel Bullion Ecklund has a diverse and fluent background in the art and framing world. She earned a BFA in Art Photography and a Master of Arts degree in Museum Studies. Following her training, Ariel gained valuable experience working in book and paper conservation, as a freelance photographer, and with a wide range of collections in numerous museums. She enjoys collaborating on projects with her husband, a custom cabinet maker, and she is indebted to her mother, an artist, who first sparked her interest in the fine arts.

Ariel purchased the gallery from the previous owners in 2010.  Since then, the business has gone through physical transformation- with the addition of gallery space as well as the renovation of the existing location. Corners Gallery strives to better the community by supporting other organizations such as CAP, the Learning Web, Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, Ithaca Fine Arts Boosters, Cayuga Heights PTA, the Ithaca League of Women Rollers, Women Swimmin for Hospicare, AIDS Ride for Life, and many others.
